Contribution to Education in Gaziantep

Gaziantep (AA) - In Nizip district, a secondary school with 24 classrooms will be built on the land donated by philanthropist businessman Müslüm Erdoğan.
Governor Ali Yerlikaya, at the protocol signing ceremony held at the governorship, stated that a secondary school with 24 classrooms will be built on a thousand 141 square meters of land donated by the philanthropist businessman Müslüm Erdoğan to the Directorate of National Education.
Stating that the school, which will be completed as soon as possible, will serve education in Nizip, Yerlikaya said, "The name of our school will be Ayşen-Müslüm Erdoğan middle school. We pray to our philanthropists to sign a lot of signatures about the lands and schools to be donated from now on."
AK Party Gaziantep Deputy Mehmet Sarı thanked the Erdoğan family for their contribution to education.
Philanthropist businessman Müslüm Erdoğan emphasized that although they work in Ankara, they do not forget their hometown.
Expressing that he owes a debt of gratitude to Gaziantep, Erdoğan said, "We owe a debt of gratitude to this land. We have started a school project in order to partially repay it, but it will not be limited to this. God willing, we promise a second school here," he said.
Following the speeches, Governor Yerlikaya and philanthropist Müslüm Erdoğan signed the protocol for the construction of the 24-classroom Ayşen-Müslüm Erdoğan Secondary School.
Nizip District Governor Harun Sarıfakıoğulları, Nizip Mayor Hacı Fevzi Akdoğan and Director of National Education Mustafa Yanmaz also attended the ceremony.
